Fluid freezing

Individual quick freezing (IQF) is a technology originally developed by Frigoscandia Equipment as a specific solution to block or cluster-freezing of small-sized products, to preserve quality and to give unparalleled convenience to end-users. IQF has been the freezing method of choice for seasonal products such as fruits and vegetables ever since the first FLoFREEZE was introduced. And over the years, it has been further developed to cover a broader range of other product types such as diced meat, shrimps, pasta and rice.

With the FLoFREEZE freezer, you get consistent, perfect IQF results. Even the most difficult products are handled genrly, and frozen without destroying their appearance. Right from the start, products are separately frozen, resulting in hassle-free thawing of the product by the time it reaches the consumer.

CONTROLLED AIRFLOW

What is essential in IQF freezing is its ability to keep solid particles suspended in the air while being frozen, without sticking to each other. This is done with the help of the specially-designed perforated OQF track that allows the air to be evenly distributed and directed towards the product. The airflow in the initial freezing zone is directed towards the colder air of the final zone, creating a turbulence that speeds up heat transfer and ensures fast, gentle srust-freezing when the product is most fragile – at the very start of the freezing process. The crust-freezing provided by this controlled and efficient airflow locks in product moisture before the final freezing, thereby preserving product weight, appearance and IQF quality.

UNRIVALLED FLEXIBILITY

You can run the freezer with belt agitation for wet, sticky products. You can transport and freeze heavy products as well. You can fluidize a difficult product like cooked long-grain rice. And with the optional pulsator, you can freeze even more comlicated products than all these. Top quality is what you get for every application.
